The article, titled “The Quantum Leap Toward a Sustainable Future: Exploring the Nexus Between Blockchain, Circular Economy, and Managerial Perceptions,” was co-authored with Nasrin Azar, Lam Wai Leong, T. Ramayah, and Moniruzzaman Sarker. This study explores the critical role of blockchain technology (BCT) in advancing circular economy (CE) practices within environmentally responsible supply chain management.

In response to the urgent need for sustainable practices amid pressing environmental challenges, the paper investigates how executives’ perceptions of adopting blockchain can facilitate the integration of circular economy principles into organizational processes. The research is built on the Belief-Action-Outcome (BAO) model, providing an insightful framework for understanding how blockchain can enhance CE implementation and drive organizational performance.

This publication in Business Strategy and the Environment—a leading journal in the field of business and environmental strategy—further establishes Dr. Dalvi Esfahani’s expertise at the intersection of technology and sustainability. It also underscores the ongoing commitment of BFCRG to advancing research that supports the integration of cutting-edge technologies for a more sustainable future.
